On the split Sentai Mountain, humans and robots wage a battle for supremacy and survival. Piloting immense, heavily armed and armored battle machines, the two sides have long fought for control of the ancient mountain and the secrets it hides.
Driven from their fortress base by the robots’ relentless attacks, the human EXO-FORCE team took shelter in the Golden City, a mysterious structure created by unknown builders thousands of years before. There they discovered a new home, as well as technology that let them upgrade their battle machines to a whole new level of power. But the robots followed them, and in their most devastating attack yet, they succeeded in capturing Sensei Keiken, the wise leader of the EXO-FORCE team.
The robots have taken Keiken deep into the jungle near the mountain’s base, planning to use his knowledge to rediscover the technology that first gave them life and the will to destroy...and then to finally conquer the mountain and destroy EXO-FORCE once and for all.
Now it is up to a few brave EXO-FORCE pilots – Hikaru, Takeshi, Ha-Ya-To and Ryo – to take their hi-tech new jungle-combat battle machines on a mission to rescue their leader. They have sworn to pursue and fight the robots wherever they go, but even the robot leader Meca One does not realize the many traps and dangers that surround them in this hostile new environment.
The jungle mission has begun!

Sensei Keiken had recorded a video message in the event that he was captured by the robots. He knew that Meca One would take him to the mountain-base outpost, and he had prepared a contingency plan for the team. Much to her surprise, his first act is to place Hitomi in command of EXO-FORCE in his absence.
For Ryo, Ha-Ya-To, Hikaru and Takeshi, he had the Golden City create four new battle machines specialized for jungle infiltration and combat. His recordi g gives them a new mission: to prevent Meca One from carrying out his plans at the base of the mountain, whatever the cost ... even if it means the sacrifice of Sensei Keiken himself.
Determined to rescue their mentor and leader, the EXO-FORCE team climb into their new battle machines and descend the mountain to the unexplored jungle far below.
